Kindergarten Highlights

Mathematics-Kindergarten students engage in problem-based learning that progresses to abstract concepts. Using manipulatives, visual models, and symbols, students develop deep mathematical thinking. Instruction balances conceptual understanding, procedural skills, and application, turning students into confident problem solvers and critical thinkers.

Language Arts & Literacy-Students participate in daily literacy rotations, using decodable books and small-group guided reading. Instruction focuses on phonemic awareness, phonics decoding, comprehension, and written expression, fostering fluent and confident readers. Regular assessments guide individualized instruction.
